QR Code Scanning Guide
For Staff
As venue staff, you can scan passes for entry and redeem Girls Night drinks.
- • Select "Entry Scan" mode for regular passes
- • Select "Drink Redemption" for Girls Night passes
- • Point camera at QR code
- • If needed, refuse entry or ban user
Scanning Modes
Entry Scan
Scans passes for venue entry. Once scanned, the pass shows as "redeemed" on the user's device.
Drink Redemption
Redeems the complimentary drink for Girls Night passes. Can only be used once per pass.
Refusing Entry
If a user should not be allowed entry, you can:
- • Refuse Entry: Refunds the purchase
- • Ban User: Bans from venue and refunds
Best Practices
- • Ensure good lighting when scanning QR codes
- • Hold camera steady and at appropriate distance
- • Verify pass details match the user
- • Check pass hasn't already been scanned
- • For Girls Night, verify group membership before drink redemption
